Warehouse Expansion Continues

Renovations are marching on at Something Different Wholesale. The demolition work in Block F is progressing well ahead of schedule. Various walls, offices and pipelines have now been cleared to reveal a much larger open-plan warehouse space.

The remaining demolition work will be captured with a new time lapse camera. This footage will condense days of renovations into just a few minutes - expect to see some very animated footage of machinery zipping around warehouse! The camera has been mounted high in Block F to capture as much of the project as possible.

The asbestos removal contractors have brought in a specialist unit to allow them to safely decontaminate while work is taking place. All affected areas have been securely sealed to isolate the space.

In the coming weeks, we will be joined by a very strong member of the team - a new counter-balance forklift! This will allow us to safely transfer goods between buildings. There will be lots of lifting to do once the block is fully cleared so the forklift is sure to get a lot of use!
